Aeta Village Student’s Xmas Gift Year End Party

On December 12, 2024, as part of our support to Educational Program for Indigenous Students, our club sponsored Christmas gift giving Year End Party in Subic, Bataan, Philippines.
All Grade Levels of Aeta Village Day Care Center participated.

The event was followed by a dance contest with prizes held on December 20. Both events provided gifts and foods, led by our club Rotarian Imelda and Past President Ivan.

Aeta Village Celebrate Halloween Costume Event

On October 29, 2024, as part of Indigenous Student’s Educational Program conducted at Aeta Village Elementary School/Day Care/High School 🏫 in Subic, Bataan, our club sponsored a Halloween costume party, led by our club Rotarian Imelda and financially supported by our past president Ivan..

It was the first time event for the Aeta children and their parents to have this type of Western cultural event, yet they were very happy wearing Halloween costumes.

Rice Giving to Resettled Families with misdemeanant minors

On June 1st, 2024, our club Rotarians, PP Raymund and PP Casey, together with the guests of Japanese nationals, Mr. Ken Yamamoto and Mr. Tetsuya Yamashita, first visited the MSWD (Municipal Social Welfare Department) facility in Alfonso, Cavite, where currently 7 CICL (Children In Conflict of Law) stay under surveillance.
They committed misdemeanor such as involvement in rape case, stealing motorcycles, etc.

Our club and Academy of World Healing Foundation (AWH) made a monetary donation to CICL so that they can purchase their personal needs, such as hygiene items, laundry soap, etc.

Our club suggested them to participate in the rice giving event scheduled in the afternoon of that day. Gina of MSWD approved it and took all the 7 CICL’s to the site in barangay Sicat, Alfonso, Cavite, where 38 resettled families from Samar island live. We call the site “Camp Hope”

Prior to visiting the site, our club and AWH bought over 200 kg of rice and candies for children in the nearby market. Rice was in 5kg each package so that each family receives each individual bag of rice.

At the site, 7 CICL’s took part in providing candies and coins to the village children and the rice bags to the families. 20 peso bills were also given to every single village children.

7 CICL’s enjoyed temporary being out of confinement and sense of giving.

Educational Programs for Indigenous Children – Aeta Village Elementary School, Bataan, Subic

On May 31, 2024, our club, Rotary Club of Multinational Manila, sponsored the Graduation Recognition Day at the Elementary School for about 300 Aeta Students who graduated on this day. Our club Rotarian Imelda and PP Ivan have continuously supported Aeta students and the community.

Educational Toys for Kindergarten

On February 2, 2024, various educational toys were given to the Kindergarten pupils at the Barangay Sicat Elementary School located in Alfonso, Cavite, including giant floor puzzles, rubber mat puzzles, playdough, bowling set among other educational toys.

The assorted educational toys were donated by Rotary International Multinational Manila (RIMM) in cooperation with Academy of World Healing Foundation (AWH).

The Kindergarten students enjoyed hot porridge served by the Fraternal Order of Eagle members of Barangay Sicat.

The young students were grateful for the toys they received and were already excited to play with their educational toys.

The Kindergarten teacher said the toys will be enjoyed by many for the years to come.

Educational Toys for Barangay Sicat Day Care – Alfonso, Cavite

A variety of educational toys including giant floor puzzles, rubber mat puzzle, play dough, numbers and alphabets flash cards were distributed at the Barangay Sicat Daycare Center in Alfonso, Cavite on February 2, 2024.

There are about 40 young kids enrolled at the DayCare ages 3.5 to 5 years old.

The donation of assorted toys were jointly donated by Rotary International Multinational (RIMM) and Academy of World Healing Foundation (AWH). Barangay Sicat Councilor Jen assisted in the event.

Members of the Fraternal Order of Eagles from Barangay Sicat offered nutritious porridge for everyone present at the Daycare.

Toy giving on Christmas Day 2023

Several groups of children came inside the headquarters of the Rotary International Multinational Manila (RIMM) and the Academy of World Healing Foundation (AWH) in Alfonso, Cavite to render Christmas songs.

President Raymund in return gave several toys to the children, who were excited to play with them.

The toy contributions came from RIMM.

Barangay Youth Council Christmas Event for Children

On December 22, 2023 President Raymund of the Rotary International Multinational Manila (RIMM) attended the Sanggunian ng Kabataan or “SK” (Youth Council) of Barangay Sicat at the covered basketball court.

RIMM contributed various toys. Many children participated in children’s games and received toys.

The SK youth officials were grateful to RIMM for the contribution of the toys.

Christmas giving for PDLs at General Trias Jail

On December 21, 2023 many clubs from District 3810 headed by Governor Lai went back to the General Trias Jail in Cavite to conduct a Christmas Wish event for the Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs).

President Raymund of the Rotary International Multinational Manila (RIMM) participated by committing to the 20 PDLs wishlist letters he got from their Christmas Wish tree during his first visit there with the District several months ago.

RIMM gave rice, assorted canned goods, a pack of biscuits, noodles, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrush body soap and earbuds.

RIMM also brought a variety of bread for 150 inmates for snacks during the event.

The 20 PDLs thanked RIMM for fulfilling their Christmas wishes.
