“Pedal to the People: Bike and roll to Cavite’s Environmental Awareness”, a bike ride event organized by the Concerned Artists of the Philippines – Cavite Chapter (CAP-Cavite), supported by Padayon Bikes and Rotary Club of Multinational Manila (RIMM).
 
This pedal-driven activity is designed to visit places around Cavite with specific socio-environmental concerns and issues – these are river networks, century-old dams, domestic landfills, agricultural domain, reclamation sites, coastal areas and local communities. It will be a fun-filled and educational way to bring people and the community together to draw attention to the environmental situation and social conditions in Cavite through biking.

This event was also a prelude to an online talk co-presented by AGHAM – Advocates of Science and Technology for the People, entitled “Pakikisangkot #2: An environmental situationer of Cavite”, which was presented on November 30, 2021 (Saturday), 3:00 PM by Mr. Marlon C. Pareja, Associate Professor of the College of Science and Computer Studies and the Institute of Governance, Public Service and Corporate Leadership of De La Salle University – Dasmariñas (DLSU-D) and chairperson of AGHAM – Educators. There was also a talk of RIMM past president Dr. Klaus Radtke on the international situationer on climate change and its impending effects on the countries most vulnerable to disasters. Several performances was also presented as part of the program. A RIMM past president Casey Tacayama did a flute rendition on Native American Indians plight on the environment and a song rendered by Mr. .Joel Malabanan on the problems encountered local environmental activists in Cavite.
 
The talk was presented in a screen live via the Concerned Artists of the Philippines.
 
“Pakikisangkot” is a series of online educational discussions and interventions hosted by CAP-CAVITE focused on sociopolitical and cultural issues and environmental concerns in Cavite.
 
RIMM sponsored the major prize of the event which was the brand-new Padayon bicycle.
